Biker stories are almost a form of folklore.
Everyone has at least one story to tell, even if it is just about the way they felt when they looked through the window of the HD dealership and saw the shiny machine they first lusted after.
They don't even have to be about motorcycles. Some stories are 100% factual in detail, others change and morph over time as they are told and retold. Sometimes the memories fade. Sometimes people remember things the way they WANT the details to have been.
Hell, I've got a friend, Buffalobeard, who swears he remembers a certain incident that took place in South Boston years ago and involved me and a couple of friends but it never really happened. He was pretty shitfaced that night and maybe in his altered reality he actually experienced the scenario that the rest of us were just theorizing about. Who knows...but he tells the story well because he was there, dammit!. The funny thing is, Buffalobeard isn't a biker.
He should be though.
